These Terms & Conditions (the "Terms & Conditions") govern your access to and use of the website, and White Coat Romance products, applications and/or services (collectively, "White Coat Romance Services"). Please read the Terms & Conditions carefully. If you do not agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, you must not access or use the Website or any White Coat Romance Services.

Furthermore, by using White Coat Romance Services, you hereby agree to these Terms & Conditions in its entirety. White Coat Romance reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to modify portions of these Terms & Conditions at any time. All modifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on this website and/or application. Your continued use of White Coat Romance Services after any such modification constitutes your acceptance to such changes.

1. General

White Coat Romance Services are for the use of United States and Canadian citizens and/or residents who are eighteen (18) years of age or older only and:

• Are a white coat professional, engineer or professional friend that possesses a or will soon possess (i.e., student) the applicable associate’s, bachelor’s, master’s, juris doctorate and/or doctorate degree or are a candidate for master’s, juris doctorate and/or doctorate degree, and in good standing (. the most up to date list and criteria can be found here: FAQ.
• A white coat professional means any person that will soon possess (i.e., enrolled student) or are licensed or certified (or soon to be licensed or certified) to provide health related services to natural persons and/or animals, including but not limited to, physicians, dentists, nurse practitioners, registered nurses and, physician assistants, acupuncturists, chiropractors, optometrists, physical or occupational therapists, veterinarians and/or pharmacists, engineers, science and/or research professionals with doctorate and/or master’s degrees, and/or master’s or doctoral candidates (the most up to date list can be found here: FAQ. ;
• Was previously a white coat professional that possesses a master’s and/or doctorate degree, and did not lose or voluntarily surrender their license, certification and/or good standing due to any unlawful or inappropriate conduct; .
• Are a student or registered nurse that is enrolled in a school or possesses an associate’s, bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate, and did not lose or voluntarily surrender their license, certification and/or good standing due to any unlawful or inappropriate conduct;
• Are an engineer friend that was personally invited by a user who is a current or former white coat professional as set forth herein. Engineers must possess a bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate. All engineer friends must provide the necessary support to help verify their level of education and/or identity;
• Are a professional friend that was personally invited by a user who is a current or former white coat professional as set forth herein. Professional friends are currently limited to individuals that possesses a Bar license (i.e., attorney), juris doctorate, and/or hold a Master’s in Business Administration and did not lose or voluntarily surrender said license or degree due to any unlawful or inappropriate conduct. All professional friends must provide their State Bar number and/or LinkedIn profile to help verify their level of education and/or identity;
• You have not been convicted or pled guilty to a felony, a sex crime, any crime involving violence, or required to register as a sex offender with any government entity (e.g., federal, state, local, province or territory). If you are convicted of a felony, a sex crime, or any crime involving violence, or required to register as a sex offender with any government entity after you have set up an account with White Coat Romance, you must immediately cease use of the White Coat Romance Services and delete your account;
• You will not violate any laws, third party rights or our Terms & Conditions or other policies;
• The information you provide will be truthful and accurate;
• You will not impersonate any individual, provide false information, omit information or act in any deceitful manner;
• You will not stalk, harass or abuse other users;
• You will not promote any illicit, obscene or pornographic material;
• You will not transfer your account or user ID to another party without White Coat Romance’s consent;
• You will open and use no more than one account with White Coat Romance (i.e., multiple accounts are not permitted);
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information including your password;
• You will take reasonable precautions to keep safe and prevent loss or fraudulent use of your personal information; and
• You will not copy, modify, creative derivative works of, distribute, publicly perform or display, or otherwise exploit any content from White Coat Romance Services, except as explicitly permitted by these Terms & Conditions.

White Coat Romance may transfer, assign, sub-contract or otherwise dispose of this contract, or any of our rights or obligations arising under it, at any time during the term of the contract at our sole and absolute discretion.

You may not transfer, assign, or in any way dispose of this contract or any of your rights or obligations arising under it, without our express written prior consent, which may be electronically communicated by way of email.

White Coat Romance reserves the absolute right to delete any content, including, but not limited to, photos, posts and/or comments, close your account, terminate this agreement, and cease doing business with you at its sole discretion and for any reason it determines.

2. Signing Up.

When you sign up to use White Coat Romance Services, you hereby understand, acknowledge and agree to being automatically added to the email list and SMS (applicable mobile carrier messaging and data surcharges may apply) for White Coat Romance, and consent to receiving emails and SMS from White Coat Romance for any lawful purpose, including marketing. You may withdraw consent by changing your email and SMS preferences, opting out of receiving emails and SMS when prompted, and/or submitting your written request to us at:

Even if you decide to change your email and SMS preferences and/or opt out of receiving said emails and SMS, you shall still receive emails and SMS related to your account or for transaction events (e.g., email address changes, updates to the Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions, etc.).

3. Third-Party Content and Interactions.

White Coat Romance may display content from other users and/or third parties through the Services (collectively, “Third-Party Content”). White Coat Romance does not control, endorse or adopt any Third-Party Content, and does not make any representations or warranties of any kind regarding such Third-Party Content, including, without limitation, regarding its accuracy or completeness. You further acknowledge and agree that your interactions with other users providing Third-Party Content are solely between you and such other users, and that White Coat Romance is not responsible nor liable in any manner for such interactions with other users or third parties providing Third-Party Content. White Coat Romance will not conduct any criminal background checks on you or other users. You are therefore solely responsible for your own interactions with other users.

4. Communities and Groups

From time to time, you may elect to join a group and/or community, such as online message boards, newsgroups, chat rooms, blogs and/or other interactive forums (collectively, the “Community”) that can be accessed and contributed to by other users of White Coat Romance Services. Your participation in the Community is voluntary and serves as your express agreement to comply with White Coat Romance’s Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions, including any disclaimers of liability included therein, the rules set forth below, as well as the rules for the Community joined. White Coat Romance’s Privacy Policy, Terms and Conditions, including any disclaimers of liability, and relevant rules are subject to change from time to time. Your continued use of our Services after any such modification constitutes your acceptance to such changes.

To ensure a respectful and enjoyable experience, you agree to the following:

• Respect and inclusive: Be kind, courteous, inclusive, and avoid any form of discrimination.
• Mutual respect: Embrace diverse perspectives, foster a culture of respect and understanding, and avoid heated debates.
• Mindful language: Use inclusive and clear language. Hate speech, bullying, harassment or any forms of threats are forbidden. Avoid personal attacks, insults or derogatory language.

• Privacy, confidentiality and consent: Respect each other’s privacy by not taking screenshots of interactions, and obtain consent to use content from the original creator.
• Appropriate content: Stay on topic, avoid explicit, offense or irrelevant content.
• Mindfulness of others: Avoid spamming, solicitation or repetitive promotion of oneself or others.
• Personal safety: Prioritize personal safety and be cautious during meetings.
• Reporting and moderation: Report any violations privately, and cooperate with moderators.

You are solely responsible for the content originating from your devices and any transmissions you make when interacting with the Community.

Posts on any part of the Community may be edited, moved, deleted, or removed at White Coat Romance’s sole and absolute discretion. White Coat Romance reserves the right to temporarily or permanently withdraw your specific Community membership at its sole and absolute discretion.

You further agree that White Coat Romance does not make any warranty or representation that any information posted on any part of the Community, whether or not such posting is made by a White Coat Romance employee is, accurate, complete or reliable in any way. The Community posts represent the statements and opinions of the individual user and are not necessarily the opinion of White Coat Romance or its employees, partners, or affiliates. White Coat Romance does not approve or disapprove of any of the Community posts.

White Coat Romance Services, including the website, may contain certain historical information. Historical information, necessarily, is not current and is provided for your reference only. White Coat Romance reserves the right to modify the contents at any time, but White Coat Romance does not have obligation to do so. You agree that it is your responsibility to monitor changes to White Coat Romance Services, including the website.

5. Warranty Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability.

WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE DUE TO YOUR USE OF THE WEBSITE AND/OR APPLICATION, ALL INFORMATION, CONTENT AND OTHER MATERIALS CONTAINED WITHIN OR OTHERWISE MADE AVAILABLE TO YOU THROUGH WHITE COAT ROMANCE SERVICES.

YOU EXPRESSLY AGREE THAT YOUR USE OF WHITE COAT ROMANCE SERVICES, INCLUDING THE WEBSITE AND/OR APPLICATION, ARE PROVIDED TO YOU “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, IS AT YOUR OWN RISK, AND THAT ALL WHITE COAT ROMANCE SERVICES AND ALL INFORMATION, CONTENT AND OTHER MATERIALS CONTAINED WITHIN OR OTHERWISE MADE AVAILABLE TO YOU THROUGH WHITE COAT ROMANCE SERVICES ARE BEING PROVIDED TO YOU WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. NEITHER WHITE COAT ROMANCE NOR ANY PERSON ASSOCIATED WITH WHITE COAT ROMANCE MAKES ANY WARRANTY OR REPRESENTATION WITH RESPECT TO THE COMPLETENESS, SECURITY, RELIABILITY, QUALITY, TRUTHFULNESS, ACCURACY OR AVAILABILITY OF THE WEBSITE AND/OR APPLICATION, INFORMATION, CONTENT OR OTHER INFORMATION MADE AVAILABLE THROUGH WHITE COAT ROMANCE SERVICES. WHITE COAT ROMANCE DOES NOT CONDUCT CRIMINAL RECORDS SCREENINGS ON ITS USERS NOR DOES WHITE COAT ROMANCE SEARCH DATABASES TO DETERMINE WHETHER USERS HAVE CRIMINAL CONVICTIONS AND/OR ARE REQUIRED TO REGISTER OR ARE REGISTERED AS A SEX OFFENDER.

WHITE COAT ROMANCE HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, STATUTORY OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, NON-INFRINGEMENT AND FITNESS FOR PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

IN ADDITION, TO THE FULL EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WHITE COAT ROMANCE, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES AND AGENTS, SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PERSON FOR ANY DAMAGES OR LOSSES OF ANY KIND ARISING FROM THE USE OF ANY WHITE COAT ROMANCE SERVICES, OR FROM ANY INFORMATION, CONTENT OR OTHER MATERIALS CONTAINED WITHIN OR OTHERWISE MADE AVAILABLE TO YOU THROUGH WHITE COAT ROMANCE SERVICES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOST PROFITS, LOSS OF PRIVATE/PERSONAL DATA, LOSS OF USE, GOODWILL OR REPUTATION, PERSONAL INJURY, PAIN AND SUFFERING, EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES OR, ANY OR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, AND WHETHER CAUSED BY TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), BREACH OF CONTRACT OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF FORESEEABLE. NOTWITHSTANDING ANYTHING TO THE CONTRARY CONTAINED HEREIN, WHITE COAT ROMANCE’S LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CAUSE WHATSOEVER, AND REGARDLESS OF THE FORM OF THE ACTION, WILL AT ALL TIMES BE LIMITED TO THE PRICE PAID TO WHITE COAT ROMANCE FOR THE USE OF WHITE COAT ROMANCE SERVICES, INCLUDING THE WEBSITE AND/OR APPLICATION, IF ANY, BUT IN NO CASE WILL WHITE COAT ROMANCE’S LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED $100 OR THE PRICE PAID FOR THE SERVICES, WHICHEVER IS MORE.

THE FOREGOING DOES NOT AFFECT ANY LIABILITY WHICH CANNOT BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.

ANY INTERACTIONS, TRANSACTIONS, COMMUNICATIONS OR OTHER DEALINGS YOU HAVE WITH THIRD PARTIES, INCLUDING OTHER USERS, ARISING FROM THE USE OF ANY WHITE COAT ROMANCE SERVICES, OR FROM ANY INFORMATION, CONTENT OR OTHER MATERIALS CONTAINED WITHIN OR OTHERWISE MADE AVAILABLE TO YOU THROUGH WHITE COAT ROMANCE SERVICES ARE SOLELY BETWEEN YOU AND THE THIRD PARTY. WHITE COAT ROMANCE MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES WITH RESPECT TO SUCH THIRD-PARTY SERVICES, COMMUNICATIONS OR OTHER DEALINGS, AND SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE NOR LIABLE FOR OR IN CONNECTION WITH ANY SUCH THIRD-PARTY INTERACTIONS, TRANSACTIONS, COMMUNICATIONS OR OTHER DEALINGS.

CERTAIN JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES. IN SUCH JURISDICTIONS, SOME OR ALL OF THE ABOVE DISCLAIMERS, EXCLUSIONS OR LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

6. Miscellaneous.

The images used on this website and/or application may be AI art, licensed stock photography and/or are royalty-free images that may feature model(s). In the event models are used, the models have no affiliation with White Coat Romance and the AI art, stock photography and/or royalty-free images are for illustrative purposes only. White Coat Romance has obtained the rights to use the stock photography images via license agreements with certain third-party stock photography companies and the use of the stock photography images is in compliance with the terms of those license agreements.

7. Arbitration

You agree that any and all disputes against White Coat Romance with respect to these Terms & Conditions, White Coat Romance Services, and/or the use of the Website and/or application shall be arbitrated under the Rules of Arbitration of the American Arbitration Association and shall not be submitted to a court of law. You hereby waive all right to a trial by jury or a court of law should you make any claims against White Coat Romance. The prevailing party of such arbitration shall be entitled to recover their reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs, including but not limited to confirmation of such arbitration award in a court of law and post-judgment enforcement proceedings. The terms of this provision shall survive even if you terminate your relationship with White Coat Romance.

In the event you decide to opt out of this provision, the remaining provisions of the Terms & Conditions shall remain in full force and effect.

8. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be construed and enforced in accordance with and governed by the internal laws of the State of California, County of Orange without giving effect to the conflict of laws rules thereof.

9. Severability

Whenever possible, each provision of these Terms & Conditions shall be interpreted in such a manner as to be effective and valid under applicable law, but if any provision of this Agreement shall be deemed prohibited or invalid under such applicable law, such provision shall be ineffective to the extent of such prohibition or invalidity, and such prohibition or invalidity shall not invalidate the remainder of such provision or the other provisions of these Terms & Conditions.

10. Assignment and Binding Effect

Neither these Terms or Conditions nor any right, remedy, obligation or liability arising hereunder or by reason hereof nor any of the rights and obligations in connection herewith may be assigned by any party without the prior written consent of the other party. Except as provided in the previous sentence, these Terms & Conditions and all of the rights and obligations hereunder shall inure to the benefit of and be binding upon the parties hereto and their respective successors and assigns.
